Another allergy friendly recipe for you this week, this time gluten and dairy free chocolate muffins. I've added a handful of dried cherries and chopped hazelnuts to the muffin mixture to give them some nuggets of chewiness. And, just simply because I love the combination of cherries, hazelnuts and chocolate! I like to keep a batch of these in the freezer, they always seem to come in handy, especially served warm with a scoop of Coconut Ice Cream for an easy pudding.

I took some of these muffins to my mum and dad's a couple of weeks ago. After coffee and muffins and a quick look at the Sunday papers, I went for a walk around their garden which looks stunning at the moment. Glorious sunshine, bright blue skies and flowers bursting out all over the place. Spring has most definitely arrived.
And then it was lunch. Roast leg of lamb infused with rosemary, purple sprouting broccoli and home grown rhubarb for dessert. Delicious!
